Défi-réseau is an interactive game that's easy to use. By reflecting on self-help, it enables participants to learn how to interact with others, maintain their social network and make more friends.
Défi-réseau has been successfully tested with:
- adolescents and young adults with mild I.D. with or without P.E.D.
- pre-adolescents and adolescents with PD without I.D.
- students in grades 4, 5 and 6 of regular elementary school.
Pedagogical objectives
- Understand what a social network is;
- Identify who's in your network and what kind of ties you have with each person;
- Be aware of what hinders and what helps maintain ties;
- Remember the importance of exchange or reciprocity in relationships (if he receives, he should give in return);
- Name a number of things he can do in return;
- Be aware of ways to create new bonds;
- Develop social skills such as taking turns and listening to others;
- Develop mutual aid and teamwork
Depending on the level of the players, be made aware of the fact that the action taken in exchange should be :
- related to the characteristics and interests of the other player;
- in line with the action taken by the other, whenever possible;
- in proportion to what has been given by the other.

Game rules:
Aim of the game: find an action to do in exchange for what is received (reciprocity).
Number of players: 4 to 6.
Role of the game master:
- to provide the necessary help for participants to succeed;
- to lead in a way that encourages reflection and cooperation rather than competition between players.
The Network Challenge Game :
